To extend awareness about the environment and to prepare its students to live sustainably in harmony with nature, Paramount Public School organised a special assembly on the occasion of World Environment Day. The whole campus looked vibrant with all the shades of green as the day was celebrated as Green Day. An informative and entertaining programme was organised by the teachers. The day was flagged off with a school prayer followed by fun-filled but educating songs in Kannada, Hindi and English. Speech on Environment day enlightened the students about the importance and purpose of celebrating environment day. They also brooded over and discussed the best possible ways to conserve and safeguard the environment.
The programme concluded with wowing to contribute in the best manner to save the planet from further damage. Students and teachers also planted saplings on the school campus as a token of concern for the present as well as the coming generations. Students from grades 1 to 5 also involved themselves in the colouring, drawing and painting competition. Students in grades 6 to 10 made posters and collages to spread awareness about the dire need to conserve our Only One Planet.
